This sweet couple ended up having to postpone their dream wedding day for an entire year! Sadly, I had 3 sweet brides who ended up needing to do this and I was so looking forward to serving them. As we got closer and closer to Kelly & Dustin’s wedding date, the weather was more like April weather than the end of June, which left me racking my brain on backup locations to accommodate them. I didn’t want it to have an “indoor” feel for every part of their day. I came across the Up North Garden Center in Hart, MI, and called them as soon as they opened to ask if they would be willing to host this couple (and gave a little back story). They GLADLY allowed us to use their facility for the bridesmaids and bride and groom portions of the day. They even offered to set some things up to make it more special for them! While it maybe added a little more drive time to the day, it WAS SO WORTH IT!
Tony and I HAD SO MUCH FUN with Kelly & Dustin and their family and friends! As guests arrived I immediately recognized 3 other sweet couples whose weddings we’d photographed over the last few years!
