This was our first (of hopefully many) destination weddings! It was in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, and it was 70 degrees. These West Michiganders were in heaven! I was about 32 weeks pregnant, and this warm weather was a nice change of pace as we were waiting out this little baby!
Ana and Wes are fantastic human beings. Ana serves in our military, and we could not be more thankful for all of our military personnel’s sacrifices. Wes is so hysterical. Literally, Tony and I have never laughed more with a couple. My very pregnant stomach muscles were feeling it by the end of their wedding day from all of the shenanigans that went on.
Their wedding day was absolute perfection. The Ceremony venue was picture perfect from a photography standpoint. It was light and bright, lots of windows, and light walls. Ana’s dress was perfect for her. Not a lot of my brides are big fans of sleeves, but…Ana’s had gorgeous lace sleeves, and I couldn’t have loved it more. She also had an amazing cathedral veil which added so much to their portraits! She chose white florals for bouquets and red dresses for the bridesmaids, which added a nice pop to their photos.
The SPANISH MOSS was so amazing to photograph in. Michigan does not have this, and it was so awesome to be able to branch out with the different greenery in this part of the US.
Enjoy this extended preview of their wedding day!
